afe Olivier employees presented as witnesses in the trial of murder suspect Jessica Kumala Wongso reenacted in court on Wednesday the Jan. 6 incident when Wayan Mirna Salihin died after drinking a Vietnamese iced coffee served at the ritzy cafe.

The cafe employees were Rangga (barista), Marlon Alex Napitupulu (server), Agus Triyono (runner), Rosy (waiter), Akhmar (waiter), Sari (waiter) and Devi (bar manager). Along with the defendant, they chronologically reenacted the events before Mirna’s death: Jessica ordering the Vietnamese coffee and the staff serving it, including the position of every cup on the table.

After the reenactment, the witnesses acknowledged that the Vietnamese coffee cup that was allegedly tainted with cyanide had been moved. However, none of the witnesses admitted to having moved the cup.  “We’ll see if Jessica is going to be honest on this matter,” presiding judge Binsar Gultom said at the Central Jakarta District Court.

Jessica is accused of killing her friend, Mirna, by lacing the Vietnamese iced coffee with cyanide when the two met in January at Cafe Olivier in Jakarta’s upscale mall Grand Indonesia. (ary)
