The inauguration of Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto as Indonesia’s eighth president will be attended by a slew of heads of state, his team has said, adding that invitations will be sent to dozens of global leaders while the 72-year-old former Army general prepares to take the nation’s highest office in less than two weeks. 

The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) under the chairmanship of Anindya Bakrie has announced its roster of deputy chairs, which include Raffi Ahmad and Prabowo Subianto's brother Hashim Djojohadikusumo.
