Designed as the city's first lifestyle hotel, the three-star Rooms Inc. Hotel Semarang will be the first of many Rooms Inc.-branded properties to come from Sinar Mas Land.

The hotel makes use of a smart urban concept to attract young executives visiting the city on business and millennial travelers seeking to enjoy its sights and sounds.

The entire property is wrapped in an urban atmosphere, from its interiors designed with stylish art-deco touches, to its public facilities, which include modern communal areas.

The informal atmosphere of these communal areas with billiard tables, a relaxed furniture layout and super-fast Wi-Fi access that guests can use for socializing after a busy day, makes for the perfect place for guests to unwind after a busy day.

Sinar Mas Land believes that a modern lifestyle hotel should give guests an experience, not just four walls of booked accommodation.

This new hotel has 162 rooms, comprising 56 Standard rooms (including rooms for people with disabilities), 97 Superior rooms and 9 Deluxe rooms.

Each room gets its own first-class facilities, including premium beds, and guests get to enjoy the benefits of smart check-in facilities and high-speed internet access with speeds of up to 100MB/s.

Other facilities include three combinable meeting rooms, a gym, the Verve Bistro & Coffee Bar that aims to be a lifestyle icon of the city, and a 24-hour Grab & Go corner for guests short on time.

Rounding off the lifestyle facilities is an outdoor terrace that can accommodate up to 100 people. The hotel also has its own dedicated parking area.

A gateway to the city

The hotel's strategic location on top of the Duta Pertiwi Mall gives guests direct access to even more facilities beyond Rooms Inc., such as Carrefour, XXI Cinema, family karaoke and a wide range of other tenants in the mall.

Thanks to its position in the center of Semarang, Rooms Inc. also is within close reach of the city's government buildings, its city hall, its transportation hubs, Ahmad Yani International Airport and landmarks such as the historic Lawang Sewu building.
