n celebrating its 21st anniversary, BNI Life recently ran a series of activities, including an insurance awareness campaign and social programs.
The insurance awareness drive, themed “#Siapkan Bekalnya” (Prepare your life plan), was targeted toward the millennial generation to help them to become “Generation Ready.”
Despite realizing the importance of healthcare planning, many millennials, classified as those ranging between 21 and 40 years of age, are still unaware about the specifics of financial preparation, planning and protection.
“Following with the company’s vision and spirit, 21-year-old BNI Life is ready to help inspire and facilitate the Indonesian millennial generation to become Generation Ready,” said BNI Life acting president director Geger Maulana.
To be part of Generation Ready, millennials are expected to be wise and mature in preparing funds for every phase of their life in the future, starting with work, but also in becoming a parent and preparing for health protection, either for the individual or the company, he said.
On employee outing in Jogja, BNI Life also using this opportunity to do financial literacy through local media and an act of share providing staple food for victims of hurricane cempaka.
“The outing was part of a series of activities to celebrate BNI Life’s 21st anniversary and also constitutes the management’s great appreciation for all of BNI Life’s people for their hard work,” Geger said.
Yogyakarta was selected as a venue for the campaign’s activities because the city had big business potential and aligned with the values of young people and creativity, he added.
