PNM pushes for economic inclusion through Brigade Madani

T Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) consistently finances and conducts business capacity development to empower all PNM customers throughout Indonesia. By prioritizing a sustainable economy and realizing an Ultra Mikro environment, PNM and Pegadaian synergize to create a more comprehensive service network to foster the growth of a democratic economy.

To carry out the commitment, Brigade Madani (BRI, Gade/Pegadaian and Permodalan Nasional Madani) held an Introduction and Internalization of Brigade Madani Culture Roadshow at Royal Ambarrukmo, Yogyakarta, on Tuesday.

PNM's goals are equal access to funding, customer empowerment and financial inclusion. Their efforts include designing a corporate culture reflected by competence and internal capability through PNM, BRI and Pegadaian's collaborations. The pillars contained in the introduction of Brigade Madani's culture are part of PNM's strategy to accomplish its goals and support Indonesia's economic growth.

The event was attended by PT Permodalan Madani Director of Business Tjatur H. Priyono, BRI Director of Micro Business Supari and PT Pegadaian Director of Network and Sales Damar Latri. They expressed hope that the cultural introduction event would help boost the development of medium, small and micro enterprises (MSMEs) and Ultra Mikro with the Senyum (Sentra Layanan Ultra Mikro) service unit.

On the roadshow, Tjatur stated that although PNM was considered young, the formation of UMi Holding and the internalization of Brigade Madani's culture would uphold PNM's strategy.

"The process of channeling funds and business capacity development programs that PNM has done so far will be optimized with business process efficiency and a broader, more complete service network through the Senyum unit service. The series of programs within the Internalization and Introduction of Brigade Madani Culture event aims to harmonize the culture and behavior within the three entities within the UMi holding to ensure it is optimal, so that the collaboration process will be more optimal."

"All companies want collaboration in order to grow and create more efficient business processes. The establishment of UMi Holding will be a boon for the people of Indonesia. All 1,000 Senyum service unit locations are all accessible because of the collaboration between PNM, BRI and Pegadaian," added Damar.

As of March 2022, PNM had distributed funding of Rp117.69 trillion to 11.5 million customers.

PNM has 3,673 service offices across Indonesia, serving MSMEs in 34 provinces, 422 regencies and cities and 5,640 districts. There are 71,830 PNM Mekaar customers in Yogyakarta.
