ritish School Jakarta (BSJ) recently introduced its new logo at the beginning of the Academic Year 2022-2023. The new logo is the manifestation of symbolizing a nurturing home with modernity and the vibrant life of the BSJ community.
"With more than 48 years of experience in the dynamic world of international education in Indonesia, BSJ will continue to grow in the future, paving the way for all our students in education and life", said David Butcher, BSJ principal, who has been a part of the school for four years.
Built on the foundation of innovation and compassion, the new BSJ logo and color scheme are designed to be bolder, modern, and elegant. It represents the school's expansive vision for education and endeavors to innovate beyond the status quo as well as communicate its mission, vision and values.

BSJ has launched several initiatives and teamed up with reputable strategic partners worldwide to accommodate the school’s vision and mission. This year, BSJ will introduce the Discover Program, a creative, child-centered and forward-thinking approach to learning, applicable for students in Year One to Year Six. Discover offers a unique opportunity outside the curriculum to develop their learning pathway. It is designed to be mixed age within the year groups. Thus students aged between 5 and 11 can learn collaboratively.
Currently, BSJ is the only international school in South East Asia in partnership with Manchester City Football Club to deliver elevated football education experience in the school’s curriculum and extracurricular activities. On top of that, BSJ has partnered with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to provide its students and staff with a compassionate systems wellbeing program.
BSJ, through its wonderful opportunity and collaborative partnerships, provides an education that is more than just schooling. “We will continue to do what we do best, with more energy and compassion. Welcome to BSJ 2.0”, added Butcher.
