The Immigration Directorate General has ordered three airports to provide special services for around 2,000 international journalists that will come to Bali to report on the series of Group of 20 Summit meetings in the coming week.

The three airport immigrations are Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Banten, Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, and Juanda International in East Java.

According to Antara, acting immigration director general Widodo Ekatjahjana said on Friday that the journalists could enter Indonesia on free tourist visas.

The immigration offices at the three airports were instructed to provide fast and easy services for Tourist Visa-Free facility and Visa on Arrival registrants, or the checking process with the fast-track facility for journalists and G20 delegates who require those services.

The airports are also required to open a hotline center for G20 journalists who need immigration services. (dre)
