espite his hectic schedule as an actor and brand ambassador, Mario Maurer has graduated with a master’s degree in political communication.

The Thai actor shared his greatest accomplishment yet on social media, wearing his toga and celebrating his graduation with his mother and brother, hip-hop star Marco Maurer.

In several Instagram snaps, Maurer was seen bonding with fellow Thai star Ken Phupoom during his commencement.

Before leaping to his master’s education, Maurer, 28, took up communication arts in Ramkhamhaeng University.

Maurer gained fame among Filipinos for his roles in such films as The Love of Siam, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Pee Mak.

He also co-starred with Filipino actress Erich Gonzales in the rom-com flick Suddenly It’s Magic in 2013. He modeled for a Filipino clothing brand and recently visited the country to meet and greet his fans.
