ritish Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton will encourage his fans to let their creative juices flow by giving them a chance to design his helmet.
The lucky winner will have his or her design featured on Hamilton’s helmet all through the 2017 racing season.
Furthermore, the winner will also get to meet the renowned racer at one of this year’s races.
On Thursday, the three-time F1 champion posted the following on instagram: "I'm on the look-out for a dope new layout that evolves my current theme and features the candy apple red in my existing design. I'll be picking the design that I feel is the most stylish, inspiring, iconic and eye-catching."

According to Reuters, the 32-year-old racer has changed his helmet design a few times over the past several years. In his McLaren days, he raced with a distinguished yellow helmet as a mark of respect to the late Ayrton Senna, the three-time Brazilian champion. He then changed the look of his helmet when he moved to Mercedes in 2013.
Once Hamilton begins this year’s racing period with the new helmet design, it must be sustained for the entire season. But he is allowed to use one special version during a race of his choice.
The racing season is expected to start on March 26 in Australia. Mercedes' new car will be unveiled on Feb. 23 at the Silverstone Circuit in England. (nik/kes)
