While many companies have decided to ride the wave with messages of change and coming together, some have done better than others.
After Pepsi faced harsh criticism for its ad featuring model Kendall Jenner “solving” a protest by giving a cop a Pepsi, social media had much kinder words for Heineken's latest ad.
Titled ‘Worlds Apart’, the commercial created by advertising agency Publicis London depicts three pairs of UK citizens with different beliefs who have no idea of these differences between them.
After performing team-building exercises like assembling stools and a bar-top and asking each other scripted questions, a loudspeaker instructs them to watch videos of them taken before the exercise, confessing their political beliefs.

Then, they must choose whether to leave or stay and talk over a Heineken. All decide to stay.
