Singer Agnez Mo has announced the title of her newest song, “Overdose”, a duet with American singer Chris Brown.

On Instagram, Agnez posted a Polaroid-style picture of her and Brown, with the words “Overdose – Agnez Mo x Chris Brown”.

Based on one of the hashtags in the post, the song is expected to be released on July 20.

Agnez posted a picture of her and Brown on May 30, fueling rumors that the two singers were collaborating.

On June 20, Agnez posted a short video of them on a beach, which could be interpreted as scenes from their music video.

Agnez and Brown previously collaborated on Brown’s album Heartbreak on a Full Moon Deluxe Edition: Cuffing Season – 12 Days of Christmas for the song “On Purpose".

Agnez, a renowned Indonesian singer and actress from an early age, started to shed her image as a pop singer and veered toward a more hip hop and R&B style upon the premiere of her international debut single “Coke Bottle” (2014) with producer Timbaland.

She released her first international album, X, in 2017, with “Long As I Get Paid” and “Damn I Love You” as singles.

In April, Agnez was signed by American record label 300 Entertainment, a New York-based record label known for its hip-hop acts such as Fetty Wap and Young Thug. (wng)
