Are you brave enough to drop 15,000 feet above the air? James Corden did exactly that, thanks to Tom Cruise.

The late-night talk-show host and the “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” star did the unthinkable as they turned into daredevils soaring with the clouds, as seen in a “The Late Late Show” segment aired Thursday night.

Cruise said that he was happy and impressed that Corden was able to show up at a California desert; he thought that the talk-show host would text him and back out. On his part, Corden admitted trying to get hold of Cruise for the last days, but it turned out he was sending messages to the wrong Tom—Tom Hiddleston.

Taking his last chance, the talk-show host tried his best to do the “Tom Cruise” run. Unluckily, he was caught by the actor to go on with their plan.

Before diving up above the air, Cruise taught Corden arching—a technique that helps you balance while in the air. In one scene, the talk show got spun around hilariously by Cruise.

As the big moment approached, Corden phoned his wife to tell her that if ever something bad happened to him, Cruise promised he would take care of her. Funny enough, the host told her, “What do you mean ‘a better life?’ It wouldn’t be a better life.”

Corden, with the help of a professional, and Cruise then jumped out of the plane and became daredevils as they skydived 15,000 feet above the air. Corden was in awe of his experience, while Cruise showed he was unafraid, as he had done it several times during the shoot of his movie.

As Corden landed, Cruise showed that he was proud of him. In fact, he even called him a stuntman after what happened.

Cruise’s latest film, “Mission: Impossible – Fallout,” is the sixth installment in the “Mission: Impossible” series. It is currently running in theaters.
