A traveling exhibition featuring works by manga artist Naoki Urasawa opened Wednesday at the Japan House in London.
The exhibition, titled “This is MANGA — the Art of URASAWA NAOKI,” showcases the appeal of Urasawa’s work through original drawings from “20th Century Boys,” “Monster,” “Yawara!” and other manga, as well as the artists’s boyhood sketches.
“I’ll be glad if visitors feel my passion for manga even only a little through this exhibition,” said Urasawa, who visited the venue Tuesday.
