merican pop and R&B vocal group 98 Degrees has canceled its performance at the love-inspired music festival Love Fest following the group’s decision to reschedule its performances in Asia.
Jeff Timmons, the group’s producer and founding member, announced the news on his official Twitter account on Thursday.
“Due to travel restrictions resulting from the current international health emergency, our dates in Asia have been rescheduled,” Timmons wrote. “The health and safety of our fans is our utmost priority as we take these necessary precautions for all concert-goers throughout the region.”

The group, which consists of Timmons, Nick Lachey, Drew Lachey and Justin Jeffre, was initially scheduled to perform at the 2020 Love Fest that will be held for two days from Feb. 21 to 22 at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta.
Other musicians previously announced by the organizers are still on schedule to perform at the festival, including English singer HRVY, Australian musician Sun Rai, Indonesian singer Rossa and Indonesian singer Tulus.
Additionally, Timmons also announced that the group's concert dates in the Philippines have been updated and they will perform in Davao on May 16, Manila on May 21, and Cebu on May 23. (wir/kes)
