JAKARTA: Celebrity Mario Lawalata (see photo) and Putri Indonesia 2006 winner Agni Pratistha will entertain poor children and orphans in an operetta titled Konya Konya Lonya.
The show's spokesman, Sigit Wahyu, said some 200 orphans and hundreds of poor children would attend the Friday charity show sponsored by children's magazine Bobo at the Jakarta Convention Center in Central Jakarta.

In the musical, Agni will play Konya Konya Lonya, a wicked witch, and Mario Lawalata will be Niko Niko, childhood friend of Konya Konya.
Agni said Konya Konya Lonya is a simple child who grows up into a wicked witch who loves to hurt village children.
Mario said he plays onya Konya Lonya's childhood friend who helps her throw off the magical influence of Otero Tero.
The operetta will be the sixth such show presented by the magazine.
Sigit said that this year, the operetta involves 111 players, including 44 children. Apart from Agni and Mario, the show will also feature singer Trie Utami as the wicked witch Otero Tero and Pipiyot.
Public performances will be held Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., with ticket prices ranging from Rp 80,000 to Rp 400,000 per person. -- JP
