We call on you, please, to follow up and report further on this important and significant event.
More so now than ever, the FTA partnership between Indonesia and Australia will increase trade in commodities, finished goods, services and promote increased exchanges of businesspeople, skilled workers and students, by the elimination of import duties, free up immigration procedures and eliminate the cost barriers associated with visa entry and study in both countries.
In this time of world economic turmoil, the Indonesian Australian FTA represents a most important opportunity to recession-proof and cement our neighborly relationship so that both countries can work closer together, in defending, exploiting and sharing equally in the known and hidden benefits of our natural resources, commodities and people.
