AKARTA: A 13-year-old Indian girl was found dead early Friday on the lower ground floor of a North Jakarta condominium.

Kelapa Gading condominium tower tenant Ajay Nahar, 44, found his daughter, Okeshi Naharan, at the bottom of the apartment at around 2.30 a.m., Antara reported.

Apartment staff said the family had only been staying at the apartment for a week.

Kelapa Gading Police crimes unit chief First Insp. Saiman said he suspected the victim jumped from the balcony.

However, no motive to suggest a suicide has yet been determined, he said.

"The parents of the victim are still in shock and are currently unavailable for questioning," Saiman said.
