Fishermen urged not to sail due to bad weather

ILACAP, C. Java: Chairman of the All Indonesian Fishermen Association (HNSI) of Cilacap regency, Central Java, Atas Munandar has issued a prohibition on sailing for all the local fishermen Monday due to bad weather.
"There are more than 35,000 fishermen here. We have issued a ban on fishing starting today, for safety reasons," he told The Jakarta Post on Monday.
He said the sea waves were very high at an average of four meters.
