AKARTA: Indonesia's six junior tae Kwon do athletes are compe-ting for a spot in the contingent heading for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games' qualification tournament in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
Each country can appoint a maximum of three boys and three girls to the Aug. 14 to 26 Olympics at the qualification tournament that runs from Thursday to Friday.
The country's three boys and three girls are Hendra Gutama Putra (boys' under 55kg), Iqsan Saiful Muluk (boys' under 48kg), Maco Firgonta (boys' under 73kg), Aprilia Uno Sanjaya (girls' under 49kg), Adelina Kristin Nabila (girls' under 55kg), and Vivian Tiara Putri (girls' under 44kg).
The six athletes all excelled at last year's International Atmajaya University Taekwondo Open.
