JAKARTA: Six months after marrying movie director Hanung Bramantyo, actress Zaskia Adya Mecca is now expecting their first baby.
Zaskia, 22, admitted she was now two-month pregnant, and that it was her husband, not her, who had food cravings.
“Last month, Hanung was craving pineapple,” said Zaskia, laughing. “He kept wanting and eating the fruit,” she added.
Although Zaskia has started to adopt a healthier lifestyle for the sake of her baby, she is still working away, as celebrities do.
“Next week, I will be going to Bangkok and Bali for some commercial shoots,” she said. “But I’m planning to take some medicine to keep my baby healthy.”
Besides taking medication, Zaskia has been adhering to a strict diet, staying away from junk food and canned drinks.
“I’m only eating healthy foods,” she said.
Zaskia and Hanung tied the knot in September last year. Before marrying Zaskia, Hanung, 34, was a single father with two kids. — JP
