Terrorism clearly is very dangerous, not only to Indonesia but a danger to mankind.
To kill innocent people by placing explosives arbitrarily in public places is an intolerable, cowardly act.
It is therefore fully justified that our security forces shoot to kill in dealing with terrorists.
Human rights activist’s views will change as soon as a relative gets killed by an act of terrorism.

The nation must congratulate the National Police. At the same time over condolences to the family of police officers, who have lost their beloved in the recent raids in countering terrorism in the country.
But we must consider that excessive media reports on the raids against terrorists are a double-edged sword.
On one side, the country and
the world can see that Indonesia
will not tolerate terrorists in the country and shows the security services are serious in protecting its citizens.
But on the other side, we must consider that such excessive reporting may push newly recruited
terrorists to consider themselves as heroes and martyrs.

There is no reason for terrorism to be allowed to live and grow here. The government, the people and the media should take part in eliminating terrorism.
I strongly believe by reporting on issues of terrorism, the media helps to warn people to be more cautious of strangers.
Let’s clear our Indonesia of terrorism.
