JAKARTA: It has been a while since any man was seen with singer Denada Tambunan, until recently, when she went public about her new relationship with rising photographer Jerry Aurum.

Denada, 31, admitted she has long been one of Jerry Aurum’s admirers, who’s also her photography mentor.
“Last year, we did some shots for his celebrity project and I was one of his subjects,” said Denada during a book launch in Jakarta recently. “After a while, there was chemistry between us.”

“He’s such a funny person. He never bores me — I laugh all the time whenever I’m with him,” she added.
Although Denada said she had known Jerry for two years, she admitted they had officially started dating five months ago.

“We both love photography and diving, that’s why we’re somewhat connected,” said the daughter of singer Emillia Contessa.

Besides, she went on, she and Jerry are both food lovers.

“We eat just about anything,” Denada laughed. “So, eating out with Jerry means a total mess for my diet plan!”
