So often, I read negative news about Indonesia
So often, I read negative news about Indonesia. This time, I would like to write something positive.
At present, my husband and I are engaged in building a house in Sentul City, Jakarta after purchasing land.
We were, in the beginning, warned to keep our eyes open and that we would need patience and to think carefully before starting such a project
However, we proceeded and engaged a young architect and his company from Bogor to carry out our project.
What a surprise we have had, the project has gone exactly to budget using all modern materials and the delivery time was reduced from seven months to six months - yes reduced, not extended.
We have had comments from both Indonesians and Westerners about the high quality and speed of building and can only congratulate the construction company we hired.
This shows a positive side for the future and that the younger generation has the attitude and willingness to not just talk, but carry out what they state in the beginning and match any standards.
This shows us that if the future generations think in this manner, then Indonesia's future looks bright.
