eb. 7, p. 21

Andra, 6, and his 8-month-old baby brother Andre — not their real names —looked physically healthy, with no signs of being born to a mother infected with HIV.

Andra has tested negative for HIV, while his little brother will be tested within 10 months.
“I hope Andra is not carrying the virus that is in my body,” said
his mother, Rani. Andra and a number of children in Jambi with HIV-infected mothers are free of the deadly virus. Rani’s hopes for her infant’s health are understandable given the difficulties she experienced before
his delivery.
When Rani visited hospitals to prepare for the birth of her child several weeks before she was due, they all flatly refused to help her
give birth, even Raden Mattaher Regional General Hospital (RSUD), which the health minister said was a hospital for people with HIV/AIDS. (By Muhamad Usman, Contributor, Jambi)

Your comments:

The HIV/AIDS rates of counties with large university campuses have risen by incredible increments in recent years. Overall, the national young adult HIV/AIDS rates have also climbed.
A good example is that the number of people on the largest HIV/AIDS online dating site hivromances.com has increased by two thirds between 2008 and 2010.

There are over 70 million people at positiveloves.com. It’s common to feel guilty or ashamed when you are diagnosed with HIV. You may feel that your sex life is ruined or that someone you thought you could trust has hurt you. You may feel sad or upset. Keep in mind that you are one of millions of people who have it.
