have been a vegetarian on and off since I was 18. My father was formerly a strict vegan, being a martial trainer of the Siong Tie Hwee Association in Bandung during the late 1930s and early 1940s. I am now 71. Thank God, I am still healthy and strong. All of my family always told me I was a fool for restricting my diet to vegetables. I am glad my wife, who is an obstetrician (ObGyn), is also a vegetarian. We have enjoyed perfect health until today. I would not exchange our lifestyle regardless of whatever people think of veganism or vegetarians.

We are born vegetarian. In fact, those who believe in the Bible recognize that long before we were born, when Adam and Eve and the first human beings were created, the Creator specified that their diet should consist only of fruits, nuts, seeds and vegetables. (Genesis 1:29)
