ANGERANG: The Tangerang Municipal Manpower Agency confirmed on Friday that 2,184 firms located in the municipality had committed to providing Idul Fitri holiday bonuses (THR) to their workers.“As of today, we have yet to receive any notices or complaints from any firms that are not ready to pay the bonuses,” agency head Abduh Surahman said on Friday.

According to Abduh, over the past three years, he had not seen any conflicts between workers and employers regarding the THR, adding that there were a total of 380,000 employees currently working for the 2,184 firms.

A Manpower Minister regulation rules that the bonuses must be paid seven days before the holiday.
