KARTA: Ragunan City Camping Ground (Buperta Ragunan) in South Jakarta will host the biggest school reunion in Indonesia from Saturday to Sunday, according to the organizers.

Fadhil Indra, a “Silverian Super Day” reunion-event committee member, said on Thursday that the committee would hold a two-day reunion event for Greater Jakarta state and private high school students of the class of 1986.

“This will be the second event after our first reunion, Silverian Day, on May 28 at the Central Park mall, West Jakarta, which was attended by around 3,600 people,” Fadhil said, adding that the first event was recorded as the biggest high school-reunion event by the Indonesia Record Museum (MURI).

Fadhil said that 200 alumnae had registered to join the event. They will probably come along with their families, “Many more will come on Saturday,” he said, adding that several games would be laid on for the participants.

Fadhil said that the alumnae had also established an association of Class of 1986 students in July, focusing on business and charity activities.
