Indonesia received another low score in this year’s Corruption Perception Index (CPI), carried out by Transparency International.
Indonesia scored 3.0 in this year’s CPI, which was announced on Thursday by the Indonesian chapter of Transparency International. The result places Indonesia in 100th position out of 183 countries measured.

This systemic “disease” is “white collar crime” that can be detected but can not be eradicated immediately. This extraordinary crime needs extraordinary efforts to eradicate it.

We pray that now Abraham Samad, who has been elected as head of the KPK, will start to change things for the better so that Indonesia will be graded in a better position by the inspectors of the transparency body in matters of corruption.

Eradicating corruption is possible as long as the President is serious and sincere, and law enforcement is not corrupt.
Unfortunately, the police in Indonesia are also corrupt and puppets of the government and those in power.

Transparency International just stated what we have already known about our corrupt system.
We may know more than them. They forgot to include all government officials, many of whom are involved in corruption.
