ANGERANG: The Tangerang Police said on Tuesday that they had arrested three of six masked robbers believed to be responsible for a robbery at a gas station in Tigaraksa, Tangerang regency, a day earlier.
Tangerang Police chief Sr. Comr. Bambang Priyo Andogo identified the three suspects as AA Dhani, 27, a liquor seller, Syahdi Gunawan, 29, and Ahmad, 60, a security guard at the gas station. “All of them are local residents. We picked them up from their respective homes here in Tigaraksa,” Bambang told reporters on Tuesday.
He said that an eyewitness’ description of the suspects was helpful in the arrest. “We have obtained the identities of the three other suspects. It’s just a matter of time before we get them all.”
The police are searching for the three other suspects who remain at large. They face robbery charges carrying a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
