Guess what?: Iko Uwais preparing for ‘The Raid’ sequel

artial arts icon Iko Uwais, who became a celebrity after starring in the critically acclaimed action movie The Raid, says he is preparing to shoot the film’s sequel.

“We’ve been preparing the choreography so far but have not yet determined when we’re going to shoot the movie,” said Iko, who is a master of the traditional Indonesian martial art known as pencak silat, as quoted by antaranews.com

Producer Ario Sagantoro says he appreciates the response they received after the first movie and that is why they are preparing to shoot another.
“We’ll announce the actors and when we shoot the movie on Dec. 20,” he said.

The Raid tells the story of a police officer, played by Iko Uwais, who attempts to survive a setup by a narcotics gangster, played by senior actor Ray Sahetapy.
