Your letters: Terrorism isn’t over yet

T

errorism is a big problem in the world, maybe one of the biggest problems in the world.

Terrorism is really a worldwide phenomenon, but if people chose to acknowledge it, we could probably reduce the threat terrorism presents to the world.

But the only way for that to happen is if each government around the world chose to focus on stopping terrorists by hunting them if they are on their territory.

Even simply respecting international laws could reduce terrorism.

Terrorist attacks usually happen when the terrorists are trying to destroy the thing they hate, disagree with, or things they don’t want to be forced to do.

Some people chose to do this peacefully but others chose to do it violently.

That is a big reason why anti-Americanism happens in the Middle East. But it doesn’t always happen in the Middle East, it actually happens all over the world.

There are such things as non-violence protests, it’s been happening in Romania for the past year.

Most people think that terrorism is a phase and it’s over. It’s not; there will always be people who have people hating them.

There will always be psychopaths who murder people, for example the Newtown school shooting in the US is an example of this.

And most importantly, there will always be people who believe they are doing the best for the world: freedom fighters.

Some people consider them freedom fighters, others terrorists. Terrorism isn’t over yet, it’s still happening throughout the world. No civilian knows when an attack is going to happen.

Hopefully one day when the world becomes more accepting of foreign cultures and beliefs, terrorism might stop.

Since no one ever knows if influencing others into rebelling against the government will ever stop, terrorism will always be a threat.

Trying to stop poverty or reducing the numbers of uneducated people won’t exactly help terrorism to stop. They aren’t the “root” causes of terrorism, they will be able to reduce anti-Americanism a bit but that’s about it.

To reduce terrorists, people should go after those who influence others, that’s probably one of the most effective ways to reduce terrorism.

Terrorism will always be a big problem in the world; no one can truly stop it. There will always be rebels. There will always be haters.

There are always going be people who believe that what they are doing is the right thing. There will always be crazy people.
