he first day of national exam in Palembang has beentainted with the circulation of what it is believed as leaked answer that hasbeen sent through message service.
State Senior High School 9 principal Hendra Firdaus said the text messagecontaining leaked answer was sent by an unknown person.
'€œWe have prevented this action by prohibiting our students to carrying cellularphones while taking the exam,'€ he said.
South Sumatra Education Council Board member Yenni Roslaini, however, said thatthe chances for student to cheat on this national exam would be very slim sincethere were 20 different exam material packages, unlike in the previous yearsthat only had one package.
'€œSo if the text message only contains answer for one material package then onething for sure it is not for everyone to share,'€ she said.
Yenni had also criticized the organization for this year national exam, whichin her opinion was below standard because the Ministry of National Educationand Culture had failed to deliver the exam material package on time to allnational exam participants nationwide.
'€œWe shouldn'€™t experience problem in delivering materials, given the fact thatthe exam has been properly planned. This must be something wrong about theplanning,'€ she said.(dic)
