en's doubles Angga Pratama and Ryan Agung Saputra, andmixed doubles Praveen Jordan and Vita Marissa picked up wins at the Skycity NewZealand Badminton Open 2013 in Auckland on Sunday.
Angga/Ryan won 21-6, 22-20 over China's Li Junhui and Liu Yuchen in a 27-minute game, while Praveen/Vita breezed past compatriots Riky Widianto and Puspita Richi Dili 21-18, 21-8 in a 31-minute game.
'I hope this will be their learning curve and they can play better in the future,' Christian Hadinata, the head of the Indonesian Badminton Association's (PBSI) national training camp
division said as quoted by Antara news wire on Sunday. Last week, they also defeated Mohammad Ahsan-Hendra Setiawan at the Australia Open. Their recent wins have improved their rank to 12th in the world. 'This is a good start for them to gain confidence. I hope they can play better so that they can participate in the super series,' said their coach, Herry Iman Pierngadi
