heJakarta Police have deployed thousands personnel to guard the friendly soccermatch between the Indonesian national team and the Netherlands, which willbe held in Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on Friday evening.

'€œThe total personnel deployed will be 2,524 personnel,'€ Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said as quoted by kompas.com on Friday.

He also said that all spectators would undergo strict security screening to ensure weapons are not taken into the stadium.

The Netherlands top notch players such as Robin van Persie, Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder and Dirk Kyut will play in the match.

The Netherland team'€™s visit in Jakarta is part of its tour in Asia.

After Jakarta, the team will depart to China to have a friendly match with the country'€™s national team. (hrl/dic)
