Making her way to the entertainment business through modeling for a teen magazine, Eriska'€™s acting talent was discovered by director Rudi Sudjarwo. Eriska has acted in many TV series, as well as two feature films, Negeri 5 Menara (The Land of Five Towers) and Cinta Brontosaurus (Brontosaurus Love).

'€œA funny thing happened during a shoot of my most recent movie, Cinta Brontosaurus. The movie oddly used a monkey as my brother.

There were scenes where I had to interact closely with the monkey. Suddenly, during one of the scenes, the hyperactive monkey pulled my hair- it hurt me since it was very strong yet the whole shooting experience was fun after all.

Luckily, the monkey only pulled my hair. Actress Meriam Bellina, who played my mother, got it even worse. The monkey scratched her neck, but she was extremely professional about it.

I found acting a real challenge, after modeling '€“ which I started during my junior high school years because of my deep love for fashion.

I'€™m grateful I'€™ve got to where I am today from modeling, although I never thought that I would become an actress.

I'€™ve learned that acting isn'€™t an easy job, so I keep learning to develop my skills.

Being aware that I'€™m a public figure and that I have to keep myself well-maintained. However, I don'€™t find the beauty salon as my sanctuary, because I simply don'€™t have the time to go.

So, I prefer doing beauty treatments at home. There are plenty of beauty products out there, so I usually make a special budget for those products.

The focus of my beauty treatment is my hair and face. I like to keep myself looking fresh by having those two things neat and tidy.

Especially for my face, I always apply sun block before going out and to clean it after using makeup or coming home from a full-day of shooting. It only takes a few minutes '€“ there'€™s always enough time to get cleaned up.

I'€™m not coquettish or whatever, but I think it is important to look good in public and as appreciation for my fans.

If I have time, I go to a hair salon or spa for a good treatment at least once every two months.

Other than that, I prefer to hang out with my boyfriend. Watching movies is our favorite thing to do together, because we'€™re both movie lovers.

Sometimes we go to the cinema to catch a movie, or simply enjoy one at home. Simple as that.'€
