Kampung Ambon gets drug rehab facility

A new drug rehabilitation post in Kampung Ambon in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, was officiated by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).
"This post is not only for drug users. It also serves as a public health center," BNN chief Comr. Gen. Anang Iskandar said as quoted by tempo.co on Wednesday.
The facility was established because there was no rehabilitation post in the local area, which is known well for its illicit drug businesses. The post was opened to observe International Antidrugs Day.
Anang said a doctor and two nurses were posted to the facility.
Dila, 38, a resident of the local neighborhood unit, said she welcomed the new facility as it would benefit residents.
"We now don't have to go a long distance to get medical treatment," she said.
