dministrative Reforms Minister Azwar Abubakar said all civil servants across the nation must return to work on Monday after having nine days off to celebrate Idul Fitri.
'Nine days is a quite long holiday. Civil servants should be 'fully recharged' by then to provide maximum public services on Monday. There will be no tolerance [for civil servants] to miss work that day,' Azwar said in a statement released by the Cabinet Secretariat on Sunday.
Civil servants began their days off on Saturday, Aug 3. The Idul Fitri public holidays fell on Aug 8 and 9.
Many private companies will also resume business on Monday after this year's Idul Fitri.
