Sudirman University officials face 20 years in prison: Prosecutor

n official with the Purwokerto Prosecutor's Office saidthat the Sudirman University officials, who are currently being detained for their involvement in a graft case,could face a maximum of 20 years in prison and fined Rp 1 billion (US$90,065).
'Their dossiers will be sent to the Semarang Corruption Court soon,' head of the Purwokerto Prosecutor's Office intelligence unit, Sunarwan, said Thursday as quoted by kompas.com.
The university officials are Rector Edi Yuwono, Deputy Rector Budi Rustomo and head of university's publishing house, Winarto Hadi.
They have been charged with misappropriating Rp 5.9 billion of PT Antam's corporate social responsibility funds. Prosecutors have also detained Suatmadji from PT Antam under the same charge.(apt/dic)
