Jambi districts to see reelection in early December
The Constitutional Court has ruled that a reelection must take place in the Siulak Mukai and Sitinjau Laut districts in Jambi, following a lawsuit filed by the Adi Rozal-Zainal Abidin ticket suspecting systematic misconduct during elections in the two districts

he Constitutional Court has ruled that a reelectionmust take place in the Siulak Mukai andSitinjau Laut districts in Jambi, following a lawsuit filed by theAdi Rozal-Zainal Abidin ticket suspecting systematicmisconduct during elections in the two districts.
'We will know for sure the date of thereelection by Oct. 16. Hopefully, we can arrange the reelection by earlyDecember,' Jambi General Elections Commission (KPU) member M Sanusi said on Saturday.
When asked about the whether the commissionwould still use the final voterlist (DPT) or would organize a new one, Sanusi said the commission wouldlikely use the old one due to time efficiency.
'We will evaluate and sort out double votersfrom the list, if there are any,'he said. (dic)
