Jokowi unhappy with public services in E. Jakarta

J

akartaGovernor Joko '€œJokowi'€ Widodo rarely erupts publicly but today he was soenraged by the state of public services in East Jakarta he tossed a bundle ofdocuments on a desk at the East Jakarta mayor'€™s office  .

Jokowihad been at the district major'€™s office on one of his usual '€œunannounced visits'€.But instead of being welcomed at the office, the governor was forced to waitbecause the office was as quiet as a ghost town, kompas.com reported on Friday.

The governor recorded the names of all the civil servants supposedly stationed there '€” including the desk head '€” before throwing a bundle of documents on to one of the desks. He departed without saying goodbye.

Known to be a man who avoids confrontation, and indeed admits it himself, it is out of character for Jokowi to show his frustration in this way. (dic)
