Followinga request from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), which isinvestigating the case, the Immigration Office, on Friday imposed travel bans on I Gusti Putu Ade Pranjaya,along with offshore construction service provider Rajawali Swiber Cakrawaladirector Deni Karmaina, consultant Eka Putra and Indonesian MiningCommunity Presidium chairman Herman Afifi Kusumo .
'Eachtravel ban is for six months starting on Nov. 22 in connection to allegationsof corruption at SKKMigas related to named suspect Rudi Rubiandini,' said DeputyLaw and Human Rights Minister Denny Indrayana on Friday night.
Rudi,the former head of SKKMigas was arrested for allegedly accepting US$700,000 in bribesfrom a foreign oil company.
Thecase has put Jero and the ruling Democratic Party under the spotlight, giventhe fact that the SKKMigas is under the Energy and Mineral Resources' supervisionand Jero is also a member of the Democratic Party's supreme assembly.
Justrecently, a photograph of a purportedly classified KPK document ordering aninvestigation into Jero's role in Rudi's case came into circulation in thepublic realm.
However,the KPK denied it had issued such letter, saying the document was a fake. The KPKalso denied it had named Jero suspect.
