heWest Java Police have submitted the dossiers of three new graft suspects fortheir alleged involvement in falsifying documents in the Jatigede Dam project,Sumedang regency.
'The three are civil servants who were also members of a land acquisition committee,' West Java Police special crime unit director Sr. Comr. Mujiyono said on Tuesday.
Mujiyono said the suspects had allegedly faked the data, falsified land documents and paid compensation under the designated values. They also allegedly misappropriated the 2008 local administration budget, he added.
The Bandung Corruption Court sentenced the dam's land acquisition coordinator, Herdiana, to three years in jail and was ordered to pay a Rp 50 million (US$4,200) fine in January.
