Deli Serdang Police chief Adj. Snr. Comr. Dicky Patrianegara said the suspects were responsible for two missing ballot boxes.
'Police are investigating the case further, hoping it can be brought to court,' Dicky said.
Muhammad Yusry revealed he had prepared a legal opinion to reject the accusation that he was responsible for the missing ballots.
'The police and the Election Supervisory Committee [Bawsalu] are responsible for this disappearance as they were supposed to guard the ballots,' he said.
