An accident involving a motorcycle and a car on the Casablanca overpass in Setiabudi, South Jakarta, late on Monday, resulted in the death of a woman who fell off the 18-meter elevated road.
Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said on Tuesday that the motorcyclist, M. Faisal Bustamin, took the highway toward Tebet, South Jakarta, but turned around halfway along the one-way street.

Just place police officers at both ends of the flyover. Many motorcyclists make me sick. They cannot obey simple rules and regulations.

It is another monument to the stupidity and indiscipline of some Indonesian people and of course they will still carry on ignoring every simple rule ultimately designed to protect them from such tragedies occurring.

How stupid. These kinds of people don't think before doing, and it's not only harmful for themselves, but for others too. It's hard not to generalize Jakarta's motorcyclists as unfit drivers as it's very easy to find traffic violations by motorcyclists.

I was driving that night on the road heading that same direction before the accident happened and I saw 50 or more motorcycles heading back because police where checking the toll at the entry. It was a very unsafe situation and could easily have been avoided by the police closing down both sides of the lane.

While driving on Kapuk toll road late at night, I saw a motorist inside the toll road area. Riding his bike very casually, no light, no helmet, no jacket ' I suppose no driving license also.
After he saw a highway police car from a distance he attempted to turn around. Very dangerous, as lots of car drivers and trucks were surprised to encounter the bike from the opposite direction.

Stupidity or criminal negligence? I mean, seriously, riding the wrong way down a highway on a small bike?
