rosecutors demanded on Thursday that the MataramDistrict Court sentence Australian Julie Anne Joseph to one year in jail fordrug possession.
Prosecutor Iman Firmansyah said Joseph, 32, was arrested on Oct. 30, last year after her involvement in a motorcycle accident in Senggigi, West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
The police reportedly found 0.1 gram of crystal methamphetamine in her bag.
Outside the court, lawyer Edmon Laurens Aipasa denied that the drug belonged his client.
