Despite being sentenced to two years in prison and fined Rp 50 million (US$4,200) after being found guilty of illegal logging and fuel stockpiling by the Sorong District Court, Chief Brig. Labora Sitorus will likely remain with the police force because the force will only release him on the basis of the Supreme Court's final ruling.

It appears that outside Java, in places like Sulawesi and Papua (as in this story) things are still the same ' status quo!
So, lesson number one, if you want to flaunt your power and make as much money as you can illegally, do it outside Java! You can shut down an entire airport if somebody displeases you!
Lesson number two, you can make a trillion rupiah but you must share it like the days of old: honor among thieves!

Sitorus' name was first heard when the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (PPATK) mentioned him as the owner of bank accounts containing Rp 1.5 trillion, a figure that didn't fit his profile.
He doesn't have to justify his bank accounts? Mr. President, we urge you to really start with the prosecutions! Is this how you want to leave Indonesia after 10 years?
