Three masked robbers broke into a house owned by a South Korean citizen, Choi Ungsu, 43, on Friday, according to a police officer.
Cipayung Police chief Comr. Ua Triyanto said that the robbers entered the house by forcing open a door using a crowbar. One of the robbers threatened the homeowner's wife with a knife, forcing her to open a safe-deposit box
"Choi and his wife were tied up in a bedroom with their two children," Triyanto was quoted as saying by tribunnews.com.
He said the robbers fled the scene with Rp 12.5 million (US$1,067) and $5,800 in cash, six cellphones and jewelry worth $150.
The police are still investigating the case.(put/dic)
