Guess What?: Rian has a hard time writing sad songs

JAKARTA: Musician Rian Ekky Pradipta of D'Masiv pop band praised his wife, Sri Ayu Murtisari, for playing an important role in inspiring him to write happy songs.
But on the downside, he now finds it hard to compose sad emotional songs as he once did.
He recalled that when he met her, he wrote 'Natural', a hopeful love song.
'But it is hard now to create sad ones. So I usually reflect back at the times before I met my wife to write sad songs now,' Rian was quoted by kompas.com.
Rian, who tied the knot with Sri in 2012, said that the couple had a similar taste in music.
'It makes us comfortable with each other. We listen to vinyl together every morning,' said
the father of one.
