Anthony avenged his loss to Kanta Tsuneyama at the Asian Junior Championships in February by beating the Japanese player 21-13, 21-5 in their quarterfinal match in Alor Setar, Malaysia, on Wednesday.
Jonatan Christie failed to live up to his status as the world's junior number one player as he fell 17-21, 18-21 to China's Lin Gui Pu.
In the doubles events, three Indonesian pairs also made it through to the semifinals.
