Hyundai launches new SUV Tucson

he marketing arm of South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai Motor Corporation, PT Hyundai Mobil Indonesia (HMI), launched in Jakarta on Thursday the new sport utility vehicle (SUV) Tucson in a bid to capture the country's demand for SUVs.
"The car is Tucson's second generation, thus the facelift has created Hyundai Tucson version 2.5," PT HMI president director Mukiat Sutikno said as quoted by Antara news agency.
He said the new Tucson was built with a NU 2.0 MPI Dual-Continuous Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT) engine with a capacity of 2 liters.
The new SUV has a six-speed shiftronic transmission.
"We are hoping that this car will help strengthen Hyundai's position in Indonesia," he said.
He said that the SUV was available in many colors such as mystic white, atomic orange, remington red, cobalt coast, sleek silver and phantom black.(nfo)
